Out of a small town named Fairouzah in the heart of Syria comes Master Violinist George Hamad, a unique talent that has earned the love and respect of international audience... At age 16 George was the lead solo violinist in major orchestras in the city of Hems in the heart of Syria which lead him to perform with the greatest singing legends in the Arab world such as Karim Mahmoud, Sadoun al Jaber, Sayed Mikkawi and many others. In 1993 George and his family migrated to Los Angeles, California where he was able to take his talent to the international level as his band was the first Arabic band to perform the great hit "Desert Rose" on the stage of the American Grammy Awards in the year 2000 with superstars Sting and Cheb Mami. George's unmistakable musical fingerprint was left on many studio projects for various international artists. His talent was featured at its finest as he performed all 30 violin tracks in the score of many Hollywood films such as "Sand and sorrow", "Syriana", "Body of lies" and many more.
